july 4th celebration
Tennessee Brew Works and Barrique Brewing & Blending, both Nashville-based craft breweries, and the Music City Brew Hop have partnered to create an epic July 4th celebration.
Start your July 4th with craft beer, food, and live music at Tennessee Brew Works, 809 Ewing Ave, Nashville, then jump onto the Music City Brew Hop complimentary shuttle for a trip to Barrique Brewing & Blending, 30 Oldham St, located on Nashville’s East Bank, for more beer and a front row seat to Nashville’s renowned fireworks show.
The Tennessee Brew Works half of the celebration will go from 11am-7pm, with live music beginning at 2pm featuring the Tennessee Warblers and their “Americana jamgrass with an emphasis on folksy harmony & song.” In addition to the regular lineup of Tennessee-made beers, both breweries will also be showcasing beer from each other’s esteemed offerings.
The Music City Brew Hop shuttle will have two shuttle rides departing Tennessee Brew Works at 6:15pm and 7pm, offering (free) rides to Barrique Brewing & Blending for the second half of the celebration. Shuttle signups are limited and first come, first serve, for customers of Tennessee Brew Works that day. Barrique showcases a wonderful sour beer program and, of course, an incredible vantage point for the July 4th fireworks. The two shuttles will be available to return to Tennessee Brew Works at the end of the fireworks show.
ABOUT BARRIQUE BREWING & BLENDING
Barrique started in 2017 producing long term barrel aged wild and sour ales. Open fermentation in oak, locally grown grain, whole fresh fruit, constant blending, and tedious hand processing makes this unique and old-world approach to brewing truly put the craft in beer. With the average age of wild ales between 24-36 months, barrique has strategically increased barrel count in our warehouse every season, starting with only 48 wine casks originally to now a library of just under 600 casks aging or ready for package. Every beer produced at Barrique is fermented or aged in oak vessels.
In early 2021 Barrique moved locations to the current facility at 30 Oldham St and added production of “clean” beer to the portfolio, focusing on small batch continental European style lagerbier as well as British style pub ales. Barrique's tasting room officially launched in May 2021 and is open to the public 6 days a week, offering pours on site and package to go.
