The Urban Hiker was created and brewed under the direction of Tennessee Brew Works head brewer, Matt Simpson, an award-winning brewer who has been mastering his trade professionally since 1994. While he has brewed many lagers throughout his career, the Urban Hiker is the fulfillment of his passion to brew one for Tennessee Brew Works, where he has led the brew team since 2016.

Urban Hiker is a light bodied Tennessee lager with subtle malt sweetness balanced by honey dew and a floral hop aromas and flavors. The finish is crisp and refreshing. The label of the Urban Hiker recognizes the contributions of sales associate Alyssa Gayle, who has helped Tennessee Brew Works flourish over her 6-year tenure. The label art was created by legendary Nashville artist and brewery partner Bryce McCloud, Isle of Printing.
